BPL 2019 team rosters: Who is playing where

The Bangladesh Premier League is set to begin at the start of next year with Januray 5 being the possible start of the tournament. The players’ draft for the upcoming season took place today and while most teams had alrady retained their star players, there were some interesting movement during todayÕs event. Mushfiqur Rahim, who was released by Rajshahi Kings, joined Chittagong Vikings. The Chattogram outfit also acquired the services of Mohammad Ashraful, who is making a return to the BPL after a five-year ban.

Soumya Sarkar has been in dazzling form of late and he will be featuring for Rajshahi Kings. Amongst the international stars, South Africa’s T20 master-blaster AB De Villiers was taken on-board by defending champions Rangpur Riders while Shahid Afridi joined Comilla Victorians. As per BPL rules each squad needed to have at least 16 members on their side.

 

Here we take a look at the rosters of the BPL sides after the players’ draft.
