BNP activists attack police without any provocation: Quader

Quader alleged that BNP leaders and activists wesnesday carried out an
attack on police in front of the BNP central office in the city’s Naya Paltan
area without any provocation.

Police kept patience after being attacked by the BNP activists and they did
not carry out any counter attack, AL general secretary said, adding, ÒWe have to
keep patience as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has instructed us.
According to the countrys constitution, the law enforcement agencies are
now under the Election Commission (EC), Quader said, adding, We want to see
and know what measures the EC takes regarding BNP’s activities in the

Speaking about interview of AL aspirants to get party tickets to contest
the upcoming general election, Quader said interviews of the nomination
aspirants were taken at Ganabhaban, the official residence of Prime Minister

nomination for election symbol Ôboat in each constituency. But all have to
work together for the candidates who will get party nomination and election

The party president also alerted all that anyone will be expelled from the
party for lifetime if he or she opposes the AL nominated candidates.
